Project Hope

In response to the global humanitarian crisis, Cardinal Collins has announced the launch of “Project Hope,” a special emergency appeal to respond to the tragic situation of refugees throughout the world. The 100-day campaign will have a target of $3 million and a goal of settling 100 refugee families within the Greater Toronto area. The archdiocese will prioritize refugees fleeing war and violence in areas of greatest need, including Syria and Iraq, regardless of religious affiliation. This weekend, there will be collection for Project Hope at all of our Masses. You will find ‘humanitarian relief’ envelopes in all the pews and contributions may be placed in the collection basket during our regular Offertory Collection. Cheques should be made out to Our Lady of Lourdes-Project Hope- Refugee Sponsorship. We thank you for your generosity.
