3rd Eastern Sunday (Note & Bulletin)

During a wedding, I often end the homily by reminding the couple, and family and friends that in today’s world we can often feel that it is difficult to see and experience God. We may think of states of loneliness and isolation, marginalization or injustice, or places of war and violence.

Washroom Renovations

Work has begun on the men’s washrooms in the basement of the church and is expected to be completed over the next two weeks. Until that time, the washroom will not be available. Please use the washroom in Bernadette Hall in the meantime. The renovations of the washrooms were made possible thanks to your efforts and generosity in our recent car raffle.

We tend to be either optimists or pessimists. For some the glass is always half empty, while for others it is always half full. Most of us however, would rather be positive than negative, we want to see the world through rose-coloured glasses. Yet this general pattern does not seem to fit when it comes to our faith.

Refugee Update

As you may recall the Refugee Family our Parish is sponsoring is hopefully due to arrive in the next three months. A donation tree will be in the South Sherbourne St foyer of the church. If you would like to contribute household goods to the family, please stop by at the end of Mass today.
